I have decided to do this thing after much persuasion from my sister and a friend of mine. I know that I will have plenty to say but I am horrible about pictures. I thought I might try this because it looks fun. Today I am not in much of a hurry to do anything. This Christmas was kept fairly simple. Mom and Dad are off on their mission and my sister lives in Colorado (I wish I lived there). The above picture are my nieces who live in CO. They are the cutest kids ever! And I am sure that everyday is an event at their house.
In Ben's world nothing is ordinary for very long. Two Sunday's ago he found instructions on how to make a Spectrometer out of a paper towel tube and a piece of a CD. Now he wants to look at all kinds of lights just to tell me what colors they absorb the most and why your red car looks gray under sodium lights. My mom calls him a "Closet Nerd". He does keep asking me for a pocket protector because he keeps marking up his white shirts with pens marks near the chest pocket. I think he is on the right track for school - Mechanical Engineering. Brainstorming, Equating, Drafting, Building, Exploding....all of Ben's favorite things to do.
Recently I changed jobs at the hospital I work for. Now I am a Case Manager Associate! I think this job is easier than my Unit Associate job and it pays more. I even have my very own desk to display pictures and share only my germs with myself. (When you work at a hospital you really start thinking about all the places germs like to reside) My job is to provide insurance companies with chart information for reviews. And I help the RN Case Managers when they need information faxed to a company for a walker or help set up home physical therapy, etc.
